Nourish Magazine

Nourish is a modern and appetizing food magazine. This limited Spring 2019 edition of Nourish is focused around pasta and features recipes, pasta shapes, and lighter alternatives.

To produce this edition, I acted as chef, lead designer, and editor-in-chief. I developed the initial ideas, created mock-ups, and ultimately cooked and photographed all images to create original designs. This magazine combines my love of food, photography and design.

Creating Nourish, from concept to production, pushed my boundaries to experiment with not only print design, but food photography and photo editing. Landing on the final paper weight and the perfect printing process took countless test runs but was well worth it to flip through a physical end product. The entire process was challenging (even eating all the photographed food!) but taught me many lessons and I appreciated how much this magazine made me grow as a designer.
